Emerson "Eminho" Souza
Emerson Souza Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy is owned and run by World Champion Emerson "Eminho" Souza. Emerson has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since the age of 12. He is a 3rd degree black belt under Carlos Gracie Jr. from the Gracie Barra Academy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Slowly gaining popularity since he moved here in 2004, Emerson has managed to build one of the premier schools on the Island in Baldwin, NY.

Brian began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2003 with Emerson and holds the proud rank of Black Belt. Brian has a degree in Education and is the Head Children's Instructor. Ivan Gomez is a Brown Belt under Emerson and teaches the early risers Jiu Jitsu class Tuesday and Thursday at 6am. Dago Vega - Muay Thai Instructor
Dago Vega has been training martial arts since the age of 9. He was the youngest full contact champion in Chile at 17 years old and defended his title 5 times professinally. Moving to the United States at a young age he began to fight and train Muay Thai. He is currently the head Muay Thai coach at Emerson Souza BJJ Academy.
